The big question being asked now as the prices of petrol (or gasoline depending on which name you prefer) and diesel continue to rocket skyward is: Can I run my car on water? Pure water? When Brown’s Gas is burnt, it turns back into water so there are no added exhaust problems caused by using it.

Water is consumed at the rate of roughly 1 quart for about 900 miles (1 litre for 1450km). This figure depends on the size of your vehicle and it’s engine of course. The system can be installed in any petrol/gasoline/diesel powered vehicle from the smallest of cars through to heavy trucks. For most vehicles only one water container is required, which is normally about 4 inches (10 cm) wide by 8 inches (20 cm) tall. However, a number of them would be required on heavy trucks which are going to require a lot more water of course.

The chemical process is powered by the vehicle’s electrical system and only operates when the ignition switch is turned on. So there are no gases being generated while the engine is not being used. This is far safer than running a car on hydrogen as the hydrogen has to be stored at all times, whether the vehicle is being used or not.
